I don't take credit for ' your work'. If I did, I wouldn't notify you of using the photo would I? You are suggesting I just stole your photo, only because I didn't read your excessive list of rules and didn't leave a link on my flickr account. I don't accept that. I will change the photo, remove 'your work', and use another cat (not yours, God forbid) because you have made it all feel wrong now and it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
I believe you that you didn't intend to take credit, but it was clear by the comments left on flickr that other people thought the cat was part of your original photo. I didn't see anything to set that straight. I didn't think to look for my name in the tags and it didn't seem that that was clear to others either.
My rules are pretty standard for stock photos on DA. By using a photo you are accepting the rules of the provider no matter what they are. Some are stricter than mine, others are less so. If you don't like them, then by all means, find another provider.
I'm sorry this has left a "bad taste in the mouth". All I am asking for is you to clarify wherever you post the image that the cat was my stock and not your original photo. Then you have my full permission to display it. I don't think that is excessive at all.
Okay, well all I am trying to say is that there were no bad intentions and people on flickr often check out the tags for more information about the photo. I really did put up a link to you at first, but I must have put in the wrong link because when i clicked on it to check, I was directed to the general DeviantArt site, not specifically to yours. I was a bit at a loss then so I put your name in the tags, like this "cat by loopyker-stock - many thanks!" That's how it went. I am really not interested in taking credit for other people's work at all. I hope that there's no further resentment on your part, there isn't on mine now. Ineke
Your work is beautiful, but it is "photomanipulation", NOT photography. Please do not take credit for my work as people on flickr clearly are mistaking this for your own photography.
Please follow my stock rules: [link] or remove that image from flickr and anywhere else it is posted. I've commented about this on your flickr account too. Let me know when the changes are made and will change the comment there to say you have my permission now.
